Collectorate

The collectorate is a Head quarter of  District  Administration. The Collector in the Cadre of I.A.S heads the District. The main activities of District administration are Maintained Law & order and other administrative work like monitoring of development works & control over other Govt. departments. The District magistrate is the overall head of the district. The other activities of District Magistrate office includes issuing & cancellation of arm licenses, keeping records of Nazul land , Stamps , registry work , redressal of court cases related to lands . Being the head of district a common man puts ones grievances before collector which are generally related to different departments , one section of District Collector office looks after these public complaints and traces there answers from the concerned departments/officers.

 The state administrative officers like  additional Collector(Development) know as CEO Zila panchyat, additional Collector collectoarte ,joint collector ,dyt collector and SLR support to Collector and district magistrate to handle  all activates mentioned above.
